Hear Dan share insights from his experiences.
Daniel Tracy began his career in education as a high school math teacher before becoming an instructional designer and Learning Advisor. At MIND Research Institute, Tracy trains teachers as well as MIND staff. Drawing on his experiences as a teacher, coder, and trainer, he reveals that the way math is taught in classrooms rarely reflects real-world math experiences — which often do not even involve numbers and symbols. Daniel speaks across the country to illuminate the power and necessity of neuroscience-based, interactive math software that is designed to teach all students how math really works. Tracy earned his bachelor’s in math and his master’s in math education from Northern Kentucky University.
